Privacy policy
This site does not take payments, does not create accounts and keeps no database of enquiries. It sets no cookies at all until you accept them. Everything below describes what happens if you do.
Who holds the data
Lati Travel, Juncal 1327 Of. 901, Montevideo, Uruguay (RUT 220168440013). For any question about your data, or to ask for a copy or a deletion, write to info@latitravel.com.
Browsing the site
Reading these pages requires no cookie and no account. The pages are static files, so browsing leaves nothing behind on our side beyond the standard server request log our host keeps.
If you accept cookies
We measure which advertising brings travellers here, using Meta's advertising tools. Four cookies are involved, all of them set by this domain:
| Cookie | What it holds | Kept |
|---|---|---|
_lt_consent | Your answer to the cookie bar, so you are not asked again. | 180 days |
_lt_id | A random identifier for this browser. It is not linked to a name unless you send us the form below. | 90 days |
_fbp | Meta's identifier for this browser. | 90 days |
_fbc | Which advertisement you arrived from, taken from the link you clicked. | 90 days |
With those in place, we tell Meta which pages and which trips you looked at, and whether you started an enquiry. Meta acts as our processor for measurement and as a controller for its own advertising purposes. Its own notice is at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
If you send us your details
The enquiry form asks for four things: first name, last name, email and phone. Two of them happen at once when you submit it.
The details are written into a WhatsApp message that opens on your device. You send it, or you do not. There is no copy on this website, because this website has nowhere to keep one. Once you send it, the conversation lives in our WhatsApp account and in the booking record our team creates from it.
Separately, your email and phone are converted into an irreversible fingerprint (SHA-256) on our server and that fingerprint is sent to Meta, so Meta can tell that the enquiry came from someone who saw an advertisement. Meta receives the fingerprint, never the address or the number.
What we never collect here
No card or bank details. No passport data. No date of birth. Nothing is charged on this site, so none of it has anywhere to go.
Declining, and changing your mind
Declining is one click on the bar, and it is the same size as accepting. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we treat that as a refusal without asking. Withdrawing later is as easy as granting:
Cleared. The bar will ask again on your next page.
Declining removes the measurement. It does not remove any part of the site: every trip, price and booking path works identically either way.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to it being used for advertising measurement. Write to info@latitravel.com and we answer within 30 days. If you are in the UK or the EU you can also complain to your national data protection authority.
